So I hear on the news that the UK defense Secretary is lobbying calls to ban the new EA game Medal Of Honour. once again the old argument that games are bad for children comes up again and once again im left thinking that instead of blaming the game companies for games kids might play, why are parents letting their kids play games that were made for over 18s. the blame culture of our society is one thing that really makes me annoyed.

“I am disgusted and angry,” Fox continued, “It’s hard to believe any citizen of our country would wish to buy such a thoroughly un-British game. I would urge retailers to show their support for our armed forces and ban this tasteless product.”

one thing that did make me laugh was EA reply to an article about how the game is “un-british”

The Sunday Times story on Medal of Honor contains inaccuracies. For one, Medal of Honor does not allow players to kill British soldiers. British troops do not feature in the game.”

Also when they put the video footage up on news channels did they not realise that every male in this country went “WOW im buying that”
